1) Those who makes you happy
Being around someone who genuinely makes you happy can lift your spirit and help your overall well-being and quality of life. It fosters emotions that creates a deep connection, which makes life feel alot more fulfilling. Happiness is also proof that two people can align with each other, and joy can be the reward of all parties fairly respecting each other. People are naturally pulled towards those who bring them joy and comfort, which often reflects a deeper alignment of one's purposes and values.
It’s HIGHLY important to stay close to those who truly value you! Most of the time, outside influences do not understand you, and emotional bonds with strangers or anyone close-minded is very risky. Those who truly know the best of you, and truly make you feel happy for who you are, can be the ones who can help fulfill who you are as a person. Spreading happiness/joy and making people feel less alone, is one of the best things a human can do if done honestly and for the best of the person.
2) Shared Values & Understandings of Others
The more we understand each other and value, the more effective we all become with taking our goals. If two people have high amounts of overlapping values, it could lead to higher amounts of disagreement, misunderstandings, and WRONGFUL assumptions.
It’s also a crucial to see if one APPROVES of people who truly understand and care for you. When someone approves of those who understand you, it shows they share similar values + traits with the people who care about you. This means they’re likely to care about you in the same way your trusted friends do. Sharing values isn't just good for close friendship/relationship, it's almost 100% necessary for the survival and success of it!
3) Conversations about almost anything
Talking freely can also “show off” a unique identity in many ways, when you discuss all aspects of life, we learn more about the world and how one sees it. People who listens to you without negative judgement and support can create conversations that include safe spaces to express thoughts, and strong feelings.
Conversations about many things can signal strong trust which shows that the person you’re talking to isn’t entirely close-minded, understanding a unique perspective. And when someone listens with no negative or wrongful intent, it gives support and a space for growth/reflection and free-feeling release.
4) Having yourself and opinions around them
When you're comfortable enough to several aspects of your true self, it shows authenticity, honesty, and trust in the relationship. These things make you know that you’re able to accept each other truly for we are. This also goes for having differing opinions on simple things without diminishing their worth as a person. Simple disagreements don't have to undermine the friendship, and can allow personal growth and learning too. In a great trustworthy relationship, you feel free to express your true self/honest opinions with promotes the practice of honesty, and trust.
5) They give Personal Growth
Trust those who know what’s best for you, who can handle you in a more healthy way and to never push them away if they do deeply care about you. Not everyone out there wants you to succeed, some even trying to trap you in old patterns. But there are people out there who push for your growth as a person, securing a better future.
